Workers' Compensation is a state-mandated and regulated form of "no-fault" insurance that provides benefits to workers injured, or contracting an occupational disease, on the job to cover for medical care, part of lost wages, and permanent disability. All Employees are covered by the Workers' Compensation Laws. If death results from a worksite related injury or disease, benefits are paid to the surviving spouse and dependents as defined by state laws.
